The accommodation at Kingsmead is provided in three living areas (Laburnum, Juniper and Learning Disabilities in Crown Street) each with its own sitting/dining. There are enclosed garden/patio areas with raised planting beds on the ground floor.
All bedrooms have en-suite toilet facilities and are fully furnished but residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and personal items to help them relax and feel even more at home.
Residents are able to move around freely and easily within each unit at Kingsmead and, where accompanied, it’s grounds. There are ample walking areas and easy access to a safe secure garden. The home is run in a way that protects residents from any avoidable risk or harm. The home is kept in good decorative order and furnishings are well maintained. All bedrooms and public rooms have windows. Residents can expect to sit somewhere and always have a view out of a window. The door to the resident’s room have a lock and staff will be able to gain access where appropriate.
