Staffing Details
Mead Medical Services directly employs a Managing Director and two Directors. There is an Associate Director of Care and an Associate Director of Finance. There are six care homes in the group each of which has a Manager, Nurses, Team Leaders/Senior Carers, Care Assistants, Catering Staff, Domestic Staff, Laundry Staff, Maintenance Staff, Drivers and Gardeners. Currently Mead Medical Services employs approximately 450 staff.
Our staff are carefully screened and two references are always requested and checked thoroughly. During induction our care staff have to complete the following training:

• Personal care
• Confidentiality
• Manual Handling
• Record Keeping
• Scottish Care Standards
• Health & Safety
• Infection Control
• Adult Support & Protection
• Professional Boundaries
• Dementia Awareness
All new staff will complete an in-house induction programme that focuses on essential Policies and Procedures, the National Care Standards, Scottish Social Services Council Code of Conduct as well as those items listed above.
